A 100g ball of 4 ply Opal - $25.00 per ball, a soft but hard-wearing blend of 75 per cent wool, 25 per cent synthetic, knitted on 2.75mm needles, makes a pair of large adult socks or four small socks. It was designed to make great socks - we have patterns for men, women, children and infants specially designed for Opal or use any 4 Ply sock pattern - but also makes other small items such as beanies, scarves, mittens and toddlers' garments. We have a wide range of colours, but not all colours in every design may be available. Each design is a limited edition. As the designs sell out Opal releases new ones.
